Oh! how I wish I could be in Paris right now to see this outdoor exhibit " Women are Heroes". There is a
Parisian artist that goes by the
initials JR ( his real name is unknown). JR has traveled to countries like
Brasil, Kenya, Cambodia, India and Paris where he photographs women and then works with his team to make
portraits to then be pasted on walls bridges
etc around their countries. This projects helps promote
awareness to others around the world about the lives of women and some of the conditions that they are exposed to on a day to day basis, from living in a war torn town or shanty village.
JR 's work is on
exhibit now around Paris until October 23. Below are some photos of his work in Paris and other countries. Enjoy! I am a fan of his work. I think it is spectacular.( photos are all courtesy of the
Internet)
