hola! i walk a lot around nyc on a day to day basis,
 my walks are extra interesting when i come across a
cool  outdoor art installation like this one
along broadway by the sculpture peter woytuk.

hola, on 11/19 /2011 i saw this christmas tree in my
friends building lobby.....at first i thought way
to early to be up? but the tree made me smile and
then i thought, i guess it's never to early for something
that will make you smile.

hola! today we land in japan via the sunrise market in soho.
sunrise is small mart that sells japanese treats, condiments, beverages,
produce, magazines and food to stay and go.

soy sauce & citrus dressing.

miso paste.

rice seasoning.

sardines.

chips..yes shrimp chips.

hola! model /actress ahn duong is exhibiting a collection
of her self portraits at the sonnabend gallery.

i personally love her killer collection of frocks and accessories.

book {food rules}

hola! are you familiar with the book food rules: an
eaters manual by michael pollan?
well it you have or not, it has been re-released as an illustrated
 guide with additional food rules and in hardcover.

 the fabulous colorful illustrations are by maira kalman.
take a peak of some the rules below.

the famous kalustyan's which offers an extensive assortment
of spices and sweets from all over the world.

rows of spices, sauces, grains, breads, cookbooks, cook wear and etc.

hola,i was in central park this morning and saw some of
the prepping for this sunday's 2011 nyc marathon.
