Domestic Goddess???

Started off the weekend with a purchase of a new purse. I know do I need another bag??? YES!!! Had to, I get a great employee discount at work. Work hard play hard. NO...... correction work hard shop hard:) This bag reminds me of something Ali MaccGraw would of worn in the movie LOVE STORY.

Here is a picture of the start of the baked penne with roasted vegetables that ,I slaved over for my dinner guest. Please note that I made the marinara sauce from scratch YES I DID!

I also made a rosemary with white bean soup. The beans were dried not canned, boy they take forever to soak 6 to 7 hours. It was well worth it. Hearty and delicious.

One of the best things about cooking for friends is LEFTOVERS!!! All mine. Yes I did send some of my guest home with doggie bags.

After all that hard work in the kitchen. I treated myself to a blow out. There I am looking like cousin IT from the Adams Family.
