book {food rules}

hola! are you familiar with the book food rules: an
eaters manual by michael pollan?
well it you have or not, it has been re-released as an illustrated
 guide with additional food rules and in hardcover.

 the fabulous colorful illustrations are by maira kalman.
take a peak of some the rules below.

hola, back to my exploration of worldly markets, we land today at
the famous kalustyan's which offers an extensive assortment
of spices and sweets from all over the world.

rows of spices, sauces, grains, breads, cookbooks, cook wear and etc.
divine!!

hola,i was in central park this morning and saw some of
the prepping for this sunday's 2011 nyc marathon.

go! go ! go!
 how exciting, the runners were training at full force.

hola, so who's your daddy?
for all the parents in nyc that are always trying to find a
 kid/teenager friendly type restaurant.....
may i suggest big daddy's.

i think it's the perfect fun setting for a quick bite, and
they play the best old school music.
